The Full Story
I have worked from home for many years now. When we moved into our new home, I had the joy of moving into my new office that overlooked our beautiful back yard. Front and center outside my window is on old Sable Palm. Immediately, I put a bird feeder on it, and within a couple of days, there were Cardinals, Blue Jays, Finches, Woodpeckers and a whole assortment of God's little creatures.
Then the Squirrels came...
The first time I saw one perched on top of the feeder, I thought he was cute. His acrobatics and agility were truly impressive. Then a 2nd one came, and a 3rd, and a 4th. Before I knew it, there was an invading army, They were ravenous, and insatiable.
They hop on the feeder and gorge themselves. They fling the seed and stuff their faces, and I swear they grin and mock me through the window. They empty the feeder in a matter of hours.
I am a passive man, but thoughts of flame throwers and exploding acorns passed though my brain.
